The Stores meant to occupy a whole block at the entrance of Villa María city that faces both on one side the main city access and on the other to a future low residential area. It was designed to have a big commercial character in the front, and a domestic and human scale in the back. To accomplish this, the project responds to this difference of scale with the structural grid folding and shrinking and the building height reducing from front to back.
